Financial Support

Miller Freedom Center

Roberts Learning & Achievement Center

The Boys & Girls Clubs of Nassau County Foundation was established to provide financial support for Boys & Girls Clubs facilities located in Nassau County, Florida. Currently there are two such facilities, the Miller Freedom Center Club and the Roberts Learning & Achievement Center Club. The Foundation previously raised the funds needed to construct the two Clubs, and it annually raises all of the funds needed to operate the Clubs year round to provide Boys & Girls Clubs program services to Nassau County youth during the after school and summer months.

On July 1, 2017, the Foundation signed an agreement with the Boys & Girls Clubs of Central Florida (BGCCF) to manage the day-to-day operations of the two Nassau Clubs including personnel. The Foundation retains the responsibility to financially support the operations and reimburse BGCCF for all of the direct and indirect operating costs for the Clubs, including an administrative fee paid to BGCCF for oversight and certain administrative services provided to the Foundation. The Foundation owns the Miller Freedom Center Club building and land. The Foundation also owns the Roberts Learning & Achievement Center Club building and leases the land from the Nassau County School Board for $1 annually for 90 years.
